Hi my name is Alan Moss and I’m the full time lead youth worker here at S-kape.

I started working at S-kape in October 2008 and have loved every minute since then.

I live in Basildon with my wife, who I married in September 2008. We both attend St Johns and St James church in Romford (which is where I grew up) and I am also a youth work leader there too.

I spent 15 years working as a landscape gardener and metal worker but I have always had a passion for youth work. I enjoy helping and inspiring young people by encouraging them to be creative and achieve everything they can out of life. I always wanted to make a difference in the world and youth work is my way of doing that.

I started youth work as a part time worker for Essex County Council youth service about 5 years ago and I have since gained a youth work qualification and moved into full time youth work.

I love all types of music and enjoy showing off my dance moves. I enjoy watching films and being creative. I also love to chill out with a good book from time to time.
